EFM (Education for Ministry)
Education for Ministry or EFM is a four year course of study developed by the Episcopal Seminary at Sewanee, TN. The purpose of the class is to provide a way to study the bible, church history and theology in a way to empower individual ministry. The class sessions involve review of readings and a structured way to look at ministry opportunities called theological reflection. This is all just a fancy way of saying we meet as a group, study and look at incidents where ministry is possible. It's designed around adult learning, a little reading, and lots of discussion.
Please contact Paul Van Dyne at email@example.com, the mentor for the group if interested.
